What this site describes is a house containing a single gaming room. The Dutch age for such a room is 18. Younger than that and the room is shut to you, as is this section of the site.

No gaming happens here

Nothing is staked on melaveh.com, no account exists there and not a cent moves through it. Nothing on these pages is playable and there is no software behind them. Everything described takes place in the souterrain at Wolwevershaven 12.

Accuracy

The hours and the counts on these pages are current and may still be wrong by that afternoon: a table shut, a room not available, a kitchen short-handed. Nothing on this site is an offer. You have a booking when we have confirmed it to you and not an hour earlier.

Our material

Text, photographs and drawings on this site belong to the house. Lift a sentence if it serves, with a link back to the page it came from. The pictures and the drawings are not for reuse, and none of this is to be signed by anybody else.

Links elsewhere

Where this site points at a timetable or a museum, that is convenience. We do not control the other end of a link and are not answerable for it.

In the house

Staff may refuse entry to the souterrain, the counter or the house, and may ask anyone to leave, without giving a reason. In practice the reason is nearly always drink. It is not open to discussion. The kitchen serves once.

The site itself

A set of static pages on a commercial host, and nothing more than that. It goes down occasionally and no promise is offered against it.

What we answer for

We are responsible for what we get wrong inside the house. Any liability for loss arising out of using this site is excluded to the extent Netherlands law allows. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Law and forum

These conditions are governed by Netherlands law, and the Rechtbank Rotterdam has jurisdiction.
